Project Supa Sapa takes is a long ride from Hanoi where our Rotarians met up with the Principal and staff of Huang Mao Boarding School today for our joint internatiinal eco project with SUTD students and Rotaractors.
President Reena and members of the Rotary Club of Pandan Valley arrived at Hau Thao Boarding School in Ta Van Village in Sapa, Vietnam to see through Project Supa Sapa, and many of the school’s 800 primary school students were thrilled to take a group photo with the visitors! With 18 students from the Singapore University of Technology and Design taking the lead, the project will see two reading stations and a play area built for the boarding school - which home for 300 of its 800 students. A total of 10 solar-powered lamps will also be installed.
